YOUR CHANCE TO WIN ONE OF 100 FREE PLACES IN THE 2015 LLOYDS BANK CARDIFF HALF MARATHON
Have you ever watched the Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon and thought, ‘I would love to do it one day?’ well here is your chance.
Organisers Run 4 Wales have today (Thursday 7th May) announced plans to give away 100 free spaces for the 2015 edition of the Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon. The race entries, worth £36 each, will be given to individuals hoping to use the event to improve their health and well-being.
Each winner will also receive an exclusive goody bag containing products from official event partners, Lloyds Bank, Brecon Carreg, MaxiNutrition and Arriva Trains Wales plus the chance to win one of 10 pairs of top-of-the-range trainers from Brooks Running UK.
All 100 winners will have an exclusive invite to a training session at Cardiff Metropolitan University taken by an endurance expert, who will be able to give advice about how best to tackle the iconic 13.1 course around the Welsh capital.
Run 4 Wales Chief Executive Matt Newman said: “We strongly believe in the power of the Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon as Wales’ biggest mass participation event to have a positive impact on the health of the nation.
“We understand we have a social responsibility not only to put on a world-class elite race, but also to encourage thousands of people to use the race as a vehicle to get fit and healthy.
“This initiative is about giving an opportunity to people who have not run the Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon before to experience one of the nation’s favourite sporting events.”

Entrants must be over the age of 17 and have never taken part in the Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon before (names and details will be checked against previous year’s results).
