Knowing your run has helped others, gives a huge boost to the satisfaction you’ll feel on finishing the race. You’ll also be more highly motivated during your training and the race itself. Hundreds of good causes are represented each year and in excess of £3 million raised.
Once general entries in the race have sold out, only the remaining spaces reserved via our official charities will be available if you are looking to gain an entry to take part. Many will have free or discounted rate spaces available, just get in touch with them for more details.
They can give you official sponsorship forms, details on how you can fundraise with JustGiving and offer specialist help and support.

The NSPCC are delighted to be the lead charity partner of the Principality Cardiff Half Marathon.
We are leading the fight against child abuse in Wales, and across the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening. Run for Team NSPCC, because every step, every mile, will help keep every child safe.

Dementia isn’t slowing down. By 2025, there will be 1 million people in the UK living with dementia.
Alzheimer’s Society are the only UK charity who fund research, act as a powerful force for change through campaigning, and give expert advice, guidance and support through the most challenging days for people affected by dementia. They are a safe space to turn to, giving help and hope to everyone living with dementia that there is a brighter future ahead.
As part of our team, you can expect:

- Regular fundraising support from our experienced Events Team with tips on how to smash your target
