Spotlight on the Cardiff University Five Ways To Wellbeing
The campaign aims to encourage people to be the best version of themselves, reflecting on the importance of looking after yourself and others, both mentally and physically.
It’s been inspired by an award-winning, dedicated team of experts from the University and is focusing on self-care through the ‘five ways to wellbeing’ all relevant to running and the journey to the Cardiff Half start line – Support, Nutrition & Rest, Exercise, Socialising and Mindfulness.
As race weekend draws closer, we’re delighted to share a number of articles from Cardiff University exploring self-care, and the five ways to wellbeing in more detail, along with digestible explainer videos. Our five campaign themes – ‘social’, ‘support’, ‘nutrition & rest’, ‘exercise’ and ‘mindfulness’ have all been inspired by the topics discussed here.
We encourage everybody training to run the Cardiff University Cardiff Half Marathon on Sunday 27 March to take a look at the links below to learn more about self-care and improved mental wellbeing via the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’.
Just a few simple actions can make a huge difference.
