Cardiff Half Marathon

Fundraise and get rewarded

Runners who are taking on the Principality Cardiff Half Marathon to raise money for the event’s Lead and Associate Charity Partners will be rewarded for their efforts.

Those fundraising for the NSPCC or one of the Associate Charity Partners – Mind, Alzheimer’s Society or Cancer Research Wales – will be able to get their hands on a special Fundraiser Gold Card granting them to exclusive deals, discounts and race day perks*.

The benefits include skipping the queue to a free post-race massage to soothe sore muscles upon crossing the finish line, VIP start line treatment and toilet access to NSPCC runners.

Gold Card holders will also be able to receive a discount off the cost of a CDF 10K entry to supplement their training, discounts on official merchandise as well as exclusive food and drink offers in participating bars, restaurants and cafes across the city.

Annabelle Mason, Senior Partnerships Manager at Run 4 Wales, said: “Fundraisers are such an important part of our events – around £4 million is raised for charity across our event portfolio each year.

“They give so much in taking on these challenges and we feel it’s important that they’re rewarded for their efforts. That’s why we’ve brought in the Gold Card to this year’s Principality Cardiff Half.”

More details on offers for 2024 will be updated in due course.
