First Wizz Air Cardiff Half Finisher’s Tee Revealed!
Welsh elite athlete Olivia Tsim today revealed the first Wizz Air Cardiff Half finisher’s t-shirt at the iconic Principality Stadium.
With race week underway, we’re thrilled to reveal a vibrant new finishers’ tee, celebrating the race’s new relationship with Wizz Air. Thousands of runners will collect one at the end of their 13.1-mile journey around the Welsh capital on Sunday.
Olivia was delighted to reveal the design, and was looking forward to racing in Cardiff on Sunday, “It’s so great to have an event as big as the Wizz Air Cardiff Half Marathon in Wales. The atmosphere on the day is always electric, and to be able to get involved in such a big athletic occasion on home soil, in the place that I’ve grown up and train day in, day out is incredible.”
The race holds a special place in her heart. It was the first half marathon she completed, back in 2017 (where her now-husband Jai proposed on the finish line).
With the new international half marathon series now underway, the design for the first time features the SuperHalfs logo. Olivia has targeted completing the five-race circuit herself, completing her first SuperHalfs race (Copenhagen) earlier this month with Jai, running a PB of 73:38. The series includes races in Lisbon, Prague, Copenhagen, Cardiff and Valencia and challenges runners to finish them all in 36 months to earn a ‘SuperMedal’.
