Entries open for the Cardiff Bay Run 50 Space Giveaway!
We are thrilled to be teaming up with Run Wales, the Welsh Athletics social running programme that aims to ‘inspire, encourage and support’ every adult in Wales to run at this year’s Cardiff Bay Run.
Team Run Wales have 50 free spaces to give away for the new Cardiff Bay Run, which takes place on Sunday 2nd April 2017 with a stunning 10km course around Cardiff’s historic Bay. They are looking for 10 teams of 5 runners to join them in training for the Cardiff Bay Run. The only condition is your team must be registered as Run Wales Social Running Group (it’s free!) You can check if your group is registered at http://irun.wales/find-a-group/
Teams will all receive;
• a free space in the race (worth £22)
• training plans and access to an online Run Wales support network
• an invitation to a training evening, hosted by an endurance expert offering hints and tips
• a finishers T-shirt
• team prizes (various category prizes up for grabs!)
How to Win a Free Space
To enter, (once your group is registered at http://irun.wales/new-group-sign) simply visit Run Wales on Facebook (IRunWales) and Twitter (@runwales) and post them a message nominating your team, stating a reason why you think we should give your group free spaces in the @CardiffBayRun. What makes your group the best? Remember to use the hashtag #werunwales or #rhedegcymru so we can track your entry! You can also post your nominations in the comments on any of our competition posts.
The competition closes on January 22nd 2017.
