Cardiff Half Junior entries are now open
Entries to the 2024 Principality Cardiff Half Junior events are now open for Saturday 5 October.
The events mark the kick-off of the Principality Building Society Cardiff Half Marathon weekend with a jam-packed day full of fun activities, entertainment and running for all ages and abilities.
Alongside a family-focused Fun Run, there will also be a Toddler Dash for little runners in the making, as well as the popular Future Challengers race aimed at talented young athletes and junior club runners looking to take part in a competitive race.
For those who want to secure their spot quickly, an Early Bird offer is available, giving 20% off general entry prices until Tuesday 30 April.
Matt Newman, Chief Executive at event organiser Run 4 Wales, said: “The Cardiff Half Marathon weekend is so much more than the 13.1-mile race that takes place on the Sunday. It’s a fun filled two-day event that sets out to encourage people to join in, get active, try something new and celebrate our Welsh capital.
“The Cardiff Half Junior is part of our R4W Next Gen events – a series of family events that aim to inspire a future generation of healthy and active adults.
“There really is something for the whole family to enjoy and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to join in with our celebrations.”
Those entering the Cardiff Half Junior Fun Run and Future Challengers race will receive a finishers medal and t-shirt. The events will also be chip-timed for those wanting to receive an official time.
Cardiff Half Junior is part of the Run 4 Wales Next Gen series – all of which are now open to enter.
