Saturday 3 October 2021, Cardiff City Hall
The Cardiff University Cardiff Half Marathon is more than just 13.1 miles on a Sunday morning! We kick off the running fever on Saturday morning with a full day of fun activities, entertainment and running for all ages and abilities to take part in.
With smiling faces, fancy dress, and (fingers crossed) a bright blue sky, the Cardiff University Festival of Running will once again prove to be a thrilling start to the Cardiff University Cardiff Half Marathon weekend.
There’s no pressure to record fast times or even run all the way round. Instead, dig out your best fancy dress, drag along the rest of your family and friends and enjoy the experience. There’ll be plenty to keep you going all the way round and with a vibrant atmosphere and loads of support from the crowd, you’ll be round the course in no time with a big beaming smile across your face.
We encourage people to run for our charity partner NSPCC. If you choose to run for #TeamNSPCC, you’ll be running to rebuild the lives of children who have been abused in the UK. As a team, you’ll be preventing any more abuse and neglect.
To receive your Family Race Packs in the post before event day, please make sure to enter before our Postage Deadline on Friday 3 September at midnight. All entries after this date must be collected from the Event Information Tent on event day.

If you and your family still have energy to burn, there will also be a host of Come and Try sports activities and a Boulders climbing wall.
