The Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon is more than just 13 miles on a Sunday morning! We kick off the running fever on Saturday morning with a full day of fun activities, entertainment and running for all ages and abilities to take part in.

This year, we’re going wild with a safari-style JUNGLE themed Festival of Running – so get your best fancy dress ready as we prepare to transform Cardiff City Centre into a lush, tropical green forest!

With smiling faces, fancy dress, and (fingers crossed) a bright blue sky, the Cardiff University Festival of Running will once again prove to be a thrilling start to the Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon weekend.

We encourage people to run for our charity partner NSPCC. If you choose to run for #TeamNSPCC, you’ll be running to rebuild the lives of children who have been abused in the UK. As a team, you’ll be preventing any more abuse and neglect.
