The 2019 Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon race weekend takes place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October with two days of action-packed running, sport, health and well-being activities taking place in the centre of Cardiff to form the second largest half marathon in the UK.

The weekend commences with the Cardiff University Festival of Running on Saturday 5th October. The half marathon race then takes place on Sunday 6th, with trading commencing in the Event Village from 8am.

As part of our Event Village, we are looking to provide a varied mix of stalls and stands from across sectors such as sport, health, well-being and beyond; both locally and nationwide.

Over the weekend there will be over 20,000 runners and 40,000 spectators passing through the Event Village. On Saturday there will be a family fun run, mascot race, come and try sports activities, talks, competitions, music and entertainment. On Sunday the village will also host entertainment, massage, charity and business stands throughout the day.

Are you an organisation that provides entertainment, event-experience or food & drink and would like to get involved, you can apply for a stand space via this application form. For further information on the event, please contact Hattie Jardine at [email protected] or via 02921 660790
