You don’t need to run to be part of the biggest race in Wales! Volunteer, have fun, make friends, experience the electric atmosphere and enhance your CV.

It's a great way to experience the buzz if you have a friend or family member running, or are an Events Management student.

There are plenty of opportunities at the Lloyds TSB Cardiff Half Marathon, you can:

• Erect barriers and signage to help set up the start/finish area
• Be race stewards, directing people around the Runners’ Village
• Support all the runners at Barnardo’s cheering stations – we’ll give you everything you need to make some noise
• Hand out drinks at the water stations or goody bags at the end of race
• Manage crossing points across routes near the finish line
