Can’t decide whether to sign up for this year’s Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon? Or maybe you’re looking for a little training inspiration as you prepare for October. Our Training Run Series is back for 2018 and here to help!
We’re putting on three brilliant training runs in 2018 – and you can attend for FREE!
Located around Wales at three locations, each run is just after work and limited to only 200 runners on a first-come-first-served basis. These are suitable for runners of all abilities, with a number of pace groups to choose from.
There’ll be free refreshments and snacks post run as well as a talk from an inspirational runner who’ll be imparting their knowledge and answering your burning questions.
Applications for each event will be released on social media shortly before each event and can be applied for via this web-page. Once places are gone, they’re gone!
11 April – 4 Miles
The 4 Mile Training Run will take place on 11th April, starting and finishing at Cafe Castan in Llandaff Fields, Cardiff. The route will follow the River Taff towards the city-centre then loop back on the opposite side of the river.
Please arrive from 5.45pm, for a 6pm run start.

6 June – 6 Miles
The location of the 6 Mile Training Run will be put out to a public vote in late May. A number of locations across Wales will be put forward to choose from.
5 September – 8 Miles
The 8 Mile Training Run will start at Cardiff Castle and finish in Cardiff Bay. More details will be announced closer to the event date.
