Cardiff Half Marathon

Sytner Cardiff Drives Cardiff Half Forward

Sytner Cardiff Mini will be leading the way at this year’s record-breaking Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon.

A brand new 2017 Mini Countryman has been given an eye-catching makeover to pave the way for 25,000 runners as they race through the streets of the Welsh capital on October 1st.

Entries for this year’s Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon are up by over 40% on this time last year. Time is running out to book your place at Wales’ largest mass participation event, but the stand-out livery on our race vehicle gives the people of Cardiff a reminder to head over to cardiffhalfmarathon.co.uk to sign up.

Sytner Cardiff Mini were also at the heart of an unforgettable Cardiff and Vale College Cardiff Bay Run earlier this year as more than 5,000 participants took in the Bay’s spectacular scenery in the sold out 10K and Family Run Run races.

Sytner Mini, who have also provided a pool car to support the Run 4 Wales team, showcases the latest new models, a wide range of Mini Approved Used Cars and a large selection of Mini merchandise across 17 UK locations.

Matt Newman, Run 4 Wales Chief Executive commented: “We are delighted to welcome Sytner Cardiff Mini on board as official vehicle partner to Run 4 Wales. Cardiff has caught the running bug and it is fantastic to see a local business like Sytner supporting the active lifestyles of people living in the city.

“The brand new Mini Countryman cars will showcase Run 4 Wales’ growing catalogue of events and provide an eye-catching reminder to runners that there is still time to sign up for October’s Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon and various other Run 4 Wales events as well as providing crucial support on race days.”

Keith Farrell, Head of Business, Sytner Cardiff Wales said: “Here at Sytner Mini Cardiff, we are passionate about helping local people discover healthier lifestyles, and our new partnership with Run 4 Wales will help do just that.

“Our pair of brand-new Mini Countryman cars will help spread the word about the Run 4 Wales events not to be missed on the Welsh calendar of sport. The Countryman is the ideal car for those living active lives.

“From spontaneous days out to week-long road trips, our latest model is as adventurous as you are. All-wheel driving options and higher suspension gives you a perfect view of the mountain road or the dirt track. Whatever you’re into, innovative technologies like Mini Connected and Mini Navigation, available as standard, plus the optional Mini Picnic Bench and Driving Assistant package help you take the road less travelled.

“Sytner Cardiff Mini pride ourselves in offering the highest level of service, offering new cars, approved used and servicing and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Run 4 Wales.”
