Boost your fundraising power – with a Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon Charity Package

Raising money for charity is at the heart of the Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon, with thousands of runners taking part and fundraising for a diverse range of local, national and international charitable causes.

It remains Wales’ largest fundraising event, with funds raised at the 2016 event in excess of £2.5 million. Its flat, fast and iconic course proves attractive to record-chasing elite athletes as well as individuals looking to run in the footsteps of champions.

It’s a fantastic fundraising platform with 25% currently running for a good cause.

The 2017 Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 1st October and is expected to attract 25,000 runners to the Welsh capital – 51% running the race for the first time.

Our charity packages come with a range of benefits and promotions to help your charity raise as much as possible. This year, we’ve partnered with JustGiving to maximise overall charity fundraising, and together, we hope to surpass everyone’s  fundraising targets for the 2017 race. The partnership will see JustGiving technology integrated into the online race entry platform and JustGiving resources used to help charities identify key messages and timings to incentivise fundraisers to both create their donation pages and to engage with their sponsors, and also with their range of analysis tools allow charities to monitor their fundraising activity during the run up to the event.
