Cwrs ras Hanner Marathon Caerdydd

The Cardiff Half Marathon is fast becoming one of the top races of the autumn running calendar.

The route takes you through beautiful scenery and past historic buildings. It’s predominantly flat and fast, making it ideal for beginners and professionals alike. Achieve your personal best in Cardiff!

The wheelchair race will start at 8:50am and the rest of the field will start at 9:00am.

The route for the 2012 race will be announced in due course. The route below is from 2011 and is included for reference. Please note that the route is subject to change.

Starting in Cardiff Bay, the route goes to the heart of the city and takes in the impressive Civic Centre, passing Cardiff Castle. Runners take in Cardiff City and the athletics stadiums, as well as the new BBC studios in the Bay. The race also includes the popular run across the beautiful barrage and picturesque Penarth Marina.

The Half Marathon route may be subject to change at the discretion of the race organisers.

The course will be policed and marshalled throughout.
